      We are so glad to do our next ride at Faye Whittemoore Farms (The Pumpkin Patch in Jasper, Al. Last year we had 2 great rides at their campground. Ricky, Janet and the Whittemore Family has done a lot of hard work to their campground and cut new trails. If you haven't ridden here in a while, you won’t recognize the campground. He has leveled a lot of his campsites, put up an arena, and reworked the pavilion. He now has access to all of his trails without any gates and the trails are some of the best in Alabama. He has creeks, rock formations, bluffs, caves, and lots of hard wood timber. Ricky has treated us like family and done everything we have asked of him. Ricky has also agreed to let us have the camping fees a little cheaper! He told me he really likes our organization, and with the economy being down he wants all of our members to be able to come to the ride. We thank Ricky for this. So we expect a big ride. Don't miss this ride. It will be one of our best rides this year!

   His camp has over 50 shaded campsites and a total of 75. He has 31 covered stalls, 56 uncovered stalls, a nice pavilion with kitchen (for our meals and dances), a nice shower house, an arena, 2 big lakes to fish in, and 1 cabin. Those of you that have ridden here know this is some of the prettiest  riding in Alabama. As always ATRA will provide 2 dances, 2 meals, 4 guided rides, awards, t-shirts, hats, and our saddle give away. We are a family organization, so bring your kids! You must have a $35.00 deposit to guarantee your electric site and stalls.

   The travel is easy from Memphis, Nashville, Birmingham, Atlanta, and Montgomery.  The Pumpkin Patch is just off I-65, just 40 minutes North of Birmingham. Neg.-coggins required.  From Birmingham:  From Birmingham, take Hwy. 78 (I-22 towards Jasper) and exit right onto Industrial Parkway (Walker Co. Lake Rd.). Go right on Hwy.69 to Burrows Crossing Rd. and turn left. Go 1 mile to Forrester (Co Hwy. 51) and turn left. Go 1.6 mi. and turn left into The Pumpkin Patch.

From I-65 (near Cullman) exit #299:  Turn South on Hwy. 69 toward Jasper, go 21 miles and turn right onto Burrows Crossing Road.  Go 1 mile, turn left onto Forrester Rd (also called Co. Hwy. 51). Go 1.6 miles, turn left at Whittemore Farms sign.
