Seven Springs Lodge 1292 Mt. Mills Road Tuscumbia, AL 35674
March 15 - 18, 2012 This is our first ride for 2012. This is one of the best places we ride in Alabama. Those that have ridden Seven Springs know the scenery, springs, waterfalls, mountains, rock formations, and scenic views at Seven Springs. So if you haven’t attended one of our rides here, we would like to invite you to come and join us. The campground and shower house are very nice and very clean, but the riding is something you must see. Seven Springs also has lots of Indian history and an old west saloon that is a must see. The saloon is made in one of the caves and has been in several big named magazines, newspapers, and a music video. It was recently voted 3rd best hamburger in AL. The Foster family has a very nice campground with 80 electric sites with water, 12 with electric, water, and sewage, 90 covered stalls, 90 uncovered stalls, and 2 silos for rent that sleeps 6-8 people, and 1 cabin that sleeps 2-4. The silos are better than most hotels. There is a swimming pool, pavilion (which we can heat if needed), nice shower house, two big lakes, and a pen with deer and exotic animals. Danny will have hay and shavings available for sale. There is over 3,000 acres of private land to ride. It has waterfalls, streams, caves, Indian shelters, large hardwoods, rock formations, and bald knob (you can see 30 miles from there). The riding here is mountain riding but there is plenty of riding for everybody (the beginner or expert). We do recommend that your horses be shod. Danny is always putting in new trails and he is putting in two new trails for the spring ride. This time, Tim Hill with Valley Tack will be here. Also, nice jewelry will be available from Jenny. We will have food available at reasonable prices or you can buy a meal ticket for $39.00. You can buy individual meals, or even bring your own food. As always your ride fee covers 4 days of trail riding, 2 dances, 2 meals, hats, t-shirts, and prizes. So don’t miss this fun, family oriented ride. Make sure to bring your kids! This ride will be full so make your reservations early. There will be a $35.00 non-refundable deposit to guarantee your electric site and stalls. Primitive sites and picketing are available. You are welcome to come without a deposit, but it will be first come first serve on all electrics. So please register early with a deposit to guarantee your electric and stalls. There is a $100.00 non-refundable deposit required for the silo rentals and the cabin rentals. If you would like to pre-register, all reservations must be made through ATRA. Send deposits to Kenney Gladden, P.O. Box 1373 Phila., MS. 39350. Kenney Gladden (256) 390-6366. Neg. coggins are required.
